Center of Excellence in Women's Health

The mission of UA's National CoE in Women's Health is to improve health and promote wellness of all women throughout the lifecycle. The UA National CoE is led by a distinguished and diverse group of UA administrators, clinicians, and researchers with input from community members. The staff is committed to the idea that women deserve health care that supports their unique needs in every stage of their lives; is based on the most recent scientific evidence, and is sensitive to their language, culture, beliefs and lifestyle. Community Partnership of Southern Arizona (CPSA)

Community Partnership of Southern Arizona (CPSA)

CPSA is the Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) designated by the state of Arizona to coordinate and manage publicly-funded behavioral health services for children, adults and their families in Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, Pima and Santa Cruz counties. CPSA coordinates, by way of a provider network, the delivery of mental health and substance use treatment services, and behavioral health wellness and prevention services. Visit website.

Office of Early Academic Outreach

Office of Early Academic Outreach at the University of Arizona

The mission of the Office of Early Academic Outreach at the University of Arizona is to increase the number of ethnic minority, low-income, and first-generation college-bound students who are eligible to enter a degree program at a university. Some of the programs administered by Early Academic Outreach include Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA), Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP), and Building the Future. We also offer PSAT/SAT Workshops, parent outreach sessions, and industry partnerships and mentoring programs. Visit website.

Southwest Institute for Research on Women (SIROW)

Southwest Institute for Research on Women (SIROW)

The Southwest Institute for Research on Women (SIROW) was established in 1979 with a grant from the Ford Foundation as a regional research and resource center within the Women's Studies Program at the University of Arizona. Its mission is to conduct interdisciplinary, inter-institutional research, professional development, and outreach programs. Since 1985, the University has provided SIROW's core funding which supports project development, the SIROW newsletter, and some service functions. Sunnyside School District

Sunnyside is a growing, dynamic school district which serves more than 16,000 students. Established in 1921, its boundaries encompass 100 square miles and stretch from southern Tucson to Sahuarita, and from Interstate 19 to Wilmot Road. The District also serves part of the San Xavier District of the Tohono O'odham Nation. New home construction is booming in the district; with a new middle school opening for the 2005-06 school year. UPI Kino Campus

UPI Kino Campus

University Physicians Healthcare, in partnership with the University of Arizona and Pima County, is building Arizona's next academic medical campus. The new campus will be developed on 70 acres of land surrounding University Physicians Healthcare Hospital at Kino Campus (formerly Kino Community Hospital). It will include teaching and research facilities for the University of Arizona Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Public Health, along with physicians' offices and specialized medical treatment centers, including the Women's Health and Resource Center.
