ERAD specializes in community-based evaluative research and evaluation services. Our team has many years of experience helping communities, schools, and University members evaluate their programs.

Program Evaluation

Evaluation Research and Development (ERAD) is housed in the Department of Nutritional Sciences at the University of Arizona.

Through a positive team-based approach that utilizes the resources of the University of Arizona, we offer expertise and experience in evaluation research.

ERAD has three major goals:

  • The facilitation of collaborative, longitudinal, and policy oriented evaluation research.
  • The conduct of community-based program evaluation.
  • The availability of resources that support grant writing, survey development, and statistical support.
  • Being housed at the University of Arizona means competitive rates much lower than private firms or consultants.

Research and Data

Through many years of experiences, we offer support for your research and evaluation including:

  • Data dashboards to monitor your project's progress towards measurable objectives
  • Implementation of data collection methodology
  • Development of cross-sectional and longitudinal research designs, using appropriate quantitative and qualitative data collection methodologies
  • Dataset Development and Maintenance using appropriate methods of confidentiality
  • Management of large samples of data
  • Survey Development including the construction of appropriate survey instruments regarding targeted behaviors and attitudes
  • Design questionnaires that are culturally sensitive
  • Development of scannable and online surveys using Qualtrics, Survemonkey, or custom data collection applications

With a culturally sensitive and grounded approach to evaluation that values the thoughts and approaches of local experts, we offer many ways to assist you in developing your program:

  • Collaboration to develop “the big picture” and develop an appropriate evaluation plan to meet their needs
